One wonders if the wild hair and eye patch that are so closely connected with the persona of artist Dale Chihuly sometimes threaten to eclipse his extraordinary glass work. A look at his newest exhibition, Mercurio, of silvered Venetian pieces — the base color on each work is silver for a reflective, multidimensional quality — coming to Pismo Gallery in Cherry Creek January 15 – March 14 should dispel any rumor to that effect. chihuly.com, pismoglass.com
