Every day, we consider ourselves lucky to be tasked with writing about one of the most diverse and interesting cities in the country and uncovering the great stories, wonderful people, and fantastic finds that we come across regularly. So when it came time to offer our top picks of the best things we’ve seen in the past year, we thought, rather than creating a context-free list, we’d gather some of Denver’s well-known personalities from all walks of life — music, business, media, sports, entertainment, dining, fashion, politics — and let you get to know them by presenting their faves, from sweet spots to hiking trails to dance floors.
