Glosses have certainly increased in popularity in recent years as have a wide variety of gloss/stick lip combos that have erupted from the R&D departments of cosmetics companies of all sizes and national origins. But there’s something satisfying about applying a coat of solid, sumptuous lipstick — not to mention a wastebasket full of kisses from the quick tissue blot.
