Denver’s Yuppie-Parents Get a New Status Symbol

Has the $1000 Bugaboo stroller you use to parade your tot through the retail Potemkin Village of Cherry Creek North gotten a little too commonplace? Has the $300 Ralph Lauren onesie failed to sufficiently impress the neighbors?

Now Denver-yuppie-parents can really show up their fellow parents at the Montessori daycare by having their progeny’s entire genome mapped! According to Bundlo.com – a site where parents can set up blogs for their children complete with pics and videos – a company called Knome is offering to map the entire genome of anyone with enough bank to pay for it. How much bank, exactly? A mere $350,000. Apparently you can put a price on good genes.
