Thanks to local oddball, Jeff Peckman, Denver will henceforth be known as Weirdville. Today, members of the media are getting together at a secret location to view a video that Peckman describes as proof-positive that space aliens exist. The footage, Peckman claims, shows a purported extraterrestrial peering into the window of a residential home. The public is not invited, however, as the video is rights-protected and will be featured in an upcoming documentary.

This isn’t Peckman’s first brush with public displays of insanity. Earlier this decade, Peckman was the driving force behind an effort to have the city of Denver create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. Cuz, you know, aliens need a place to pick up, hotel information and bus schedules.
