Established in 2000, the Men for the Cure Foundation began when Jeff Thompson wanted to mark memory of his wife, Diane O’Connor Thompson, who lost her battle with breast cancer on Thanksgiving Day, 1999.
Thompson and his friends came together in 2000 to form The Men for the Cure Foundation. Every year since it’s inception, the organization hosts its Annual Gentlemen’s Dinner to support patient care and research at the Diane O’Connor Thompson Breast Center at the University of Colorado Hospital.
Join Honorary Chairs John Elway, Governor Bill Ritter, Mayor Ed Tauer, Stefan Tubbs and Dan Caplis for an evening of cocktails, cigar sampling, auctions, and a live performance by Lee Greenwood.
CBS4’s Ed Greene will emcee the event and 2008 National Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee, Goose Gossage will speak.
