Comedy Works Charity Week

Leading up to the grand opening of the new Comedy Works at the Landmark on October 10th, Comedy works presents Charity Week! Locally owned and operated, Comedy Works has been Denver's home for stand-up comedy since 1981. The new 21,000 square foot showroom, restaurant, lounge, and event facility is Comedy Work's second location. Various "experiences" each night are available and all proceeds will benefit the following local non-profits:

Taste of Greenwood Village

Established in 2000, the Taste of Greenwood Village is now in its eighth consecutive year. This event was created to connect businesses with consumers and Greenwood Village residents. Over thirty fine restaurants are scheduled to participate including Cool River Café and Bonefish Grill. The evening features a silent auction that benefits The Beacon Center.

Men for the Cure Foundation - 9th Annual Gentleman's Dinner

Established in 2000, the Men for the Cure Foundation began when Jeff Thompson wanted to mark memory of his wife, Diane O’Connor Thompson, who lost her battle with breast cancer on Thanksgiving Day, 1999.

Thompson and his friends came together in 2000 to form The Men for the Cure Foundation. Every year since it’s inception, the organization hosts its Annual Gentlemen’s Dinner to support patient care and research at the Diane O’Connor Thompson Breast Center at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains' annual black-tie gala benefits the Teens for Tomorrow education programs that provide young people with the knowledge, skills, adult mentorship and peer support necessary for them to make positive choices regarding their sexuality. The emphasis is on a comprehensive approach to sexuality education, focusing on the whole youth.
