Rob Schneider at Comedy Works

On the heels of his recently completed production of Grown Ups, Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider, aka Deuce Bigalow: male gigolo, will perform his standup shtick for two nights at Comedy Works. Schneider has more than 50 celebrity impersonations in his repertoire and is well known for his longtime relationship with Adam Sandler and Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison.

Pismo Mercurio Exhibition

Internationally renowned glass master Dale Chihuly will bring his works to Pismo Fine Art Glass for a two-month solo exhibition. The show, entitled Mercurio, will feature Chihuly’s newest series of work, exciting silvered sculptures that add even more dimension to his already amazing collection in glass. The exhibition will also include a dynamic new icicle chandelier, ikebanas, and drawings.

Winter X Games 14

Head to the glam mountain town that is Aspen at the end of this month for the 14th annual Winter X Games. Buttermilk Mountain will host the action-packed competition with Shaun White, Gretchen Bleiler, and a cast of death-defying snow pros competing for X gold. Cats

The longest-touring Broadway musical in history is making its way back to Denver for eight performances only at the Buell Theatre. This magical and mysterious show is the only production in North America sanctioned by Andrew Lloyd Webber and marks its 26th anniversary this season. Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Cats won seven 1983 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Lighting, and Best Costumes.

Renew255 Grand Opening

Take a tour of the recently transformed 255 Detroit Street building. The new space is solely dedicated to the very best in skincare, cosmetic surgery, and naturopathic medicine. Four businesses — Avanti; bod:evolve; the office of Carrie Louise Daenell, ND; and the office of Brian Willoughby, MD — will host a joint grand opening focusing on healthy living. The cocktail party will include an antioxidant bar, healthy passed hors d’oeuvres, creative cocktails, and gift bags. Colorado Ballet Balleto di Gala

Step into an “Enchanted Evening” and get in touch with your inner “Beauty or Beast” with the Colorado Ballet.
