Memorial Day
Memorial Day, once referred to as Decoration Day, falls on the last Monday in May. In remembrance of those American soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom, we've compiled a list of some of this weekend's festivities for you.
10th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival
More than 150,000 people are expected to stroll through downtown Denver this weekend to celebrate the finest art Colorado has to offer. View over 15 different artistic mediums from 125 of Colorado's best artists. Whether you're in the market for a new one of a kind work, or simply appreciate the talent it takes to make it, this is an event you won't want to miss.

Old South Gaylord Festival
The 29-year old festival will start bright and early this Saturday morning with a pancake breakfast, a strolling Magician and a new addition: a petting zoo complete with a wallaby, baby camel, giant rabbit and more. Jam all day with local bands and snack on food from scrumptious local vendors.

The White Series
Start your Memorial Day a few days early this Thursday with a masquerade hosted by Dom Pérignon. Kick-start your weekend with DJ Maciek who will spin into the morning at 24k or catch him this Friday at 5 Degrees for the 8th Annual Courtyard White Party, with a fashion show by Arden B. Check out the 5 Degrees ice bar which will be serving up complimentary Belvedere cocktails from 8 - 10 p.m. If you can't make the weekend parties, don't fret, Monarck will be selling $20 bottles of champagne Sunday night while DJ Danny plays the hottest beats for you to dance to. The only catch: you've got to wear white to get in.
