Deliciously Denver
D Bar, the highly anticipated dessert bar from Denver's own culinary rock star and Food Network host Keegan Gerhard and his wife Lisa Bailey, opened its doors to the public over the Memorial Day weekend (and we hear the place was packed). Gerhard recently told DM that their objective with D Bar was to create an eatery that specializes in the decadent art of desserts and wine. With years of experience in the kitchen (Gerhard and Bailey helped open the acclaimed Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas) the duo has created a unique full-time bakery by day and an intimate after-dinner dessert bar by night, offering savory snacks and decadent plated desserts. Rumor has it that D Bar has indulgences starting at 200 calories...
