Out of the Blue
Denver's resident comedic king, Josh Blue — known for his NBC Last Comic Standing win — is a jack of many trades. Blue, who studied art and comedy in college, explained to Denver Magazine in a recent interview that his artwork is, "… abstract and always dark for some reason. I can't draw anything happy, which is the opposite of comedy." Blue believes that "it's necessary to express yourself in many different ways and directions," which is exactly what his first gallery exhibition is intended to do. Through August 9th, Blue's artwork will be on display at Access Gallery, a venue that gives artists with disabilities the chance to develop and showcase their talents. Drop by this Tuesday night to meet Blue in person and purchase his one-of-a-kind art.
Preview party: Tuesday, July 15, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Opening Reception: Friday, July 18, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
