Vino in the Mountains!

The inaugural Land Trust Wine & Food Festival will take place next weekend in beautiful and scenic Crested Butte. Events include a grand wine tasting with more than 250 different varietals, wine seminars for all aficionados (and amateurs), and last but not least, exclusive dinners to learn from and eat with culinary wizards! Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Crested Butte Land Trust, an organization whose mission is to protect the town's unrivaled views, provide safe trails for hiking and biking, and to preserve its wildlife habitat.

Meet the Cheetah

Next Thursday, you'll have the opportunity of a lifetime, whether you've seen cheetahs at the zoo or on the Discovery Channel. These beautiful and magnificent creatures will be the focus at Fascination St. Fine Art Gallery. The exhibit will feature artwork by painter Jackie Vaux and wildlife sculptor Eli Hopkins whose endeavors portraying the endangered species has won them both international acclaim. Enjoy a "meet & greet" with De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Trust, including a face-to-face encounter with a King Cheetah (only 70 exist in the world). All proceeds will directly benefit De Wildt, the South African nonprofit determined to ensure the long-term survival of the wild cheetah.

First Store in Denver

Silver Jeans, famous for trendy, well-fitting denim will open its doors in Denver tomorrow! The Park Meadows Mall location will be the first of several hundred North American shops planned over the next five years. The 2100 square foot store will carry the entire Silver Jeans collection, which ranges from unique knits, intimate apparel and accessories. Love the store? On August 16, Teen Vogue will host the grand opening kick off.

Mile High Music Festival

Denver has waited for months for the most talented lineup Colorado has ever experienced. Join thousands of Denverites — and fans flying in from all over the country — for this first annual (and soon to be legendary) concert event. Saturday's highlights will be Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, O.A.R, Gavin Degraw, Citizen Cope and Jason Mraz. Through The Looking Glass

Lynn Goldsmith is truly a rock & roll legend. Her iconic photography has appeared on the covers of Life, Newsweek, Time, Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated, People and Elle, while her celebrity portraits are burned into America's collective conscious. Most recently her work was exhibited at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Goldsmith will be signing her new book Rock & Roll and exhibiting her highly technical self-portrait work, The Looking Glass Series, throughout this weekend.
