President Seuss
Do you remember childhood favorites such as Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, or The Sneetches, all from the genius of Dr Seuss? The Seuss family will release the first-ever political prints from his private collection, featuring politically charged artwork, books and cartoons that offer an unusual glimpse into the sociopolitical-minded imagination of the legendary children's book author. His publications were often metaphors for the current events happening in the world at the time they were written. And for those of you who really can't get enough Suess in your life, join the exhibition organizers for the "Dr. Seuss for President Rally March" that will head up 16th Street with a marching brass band August 15th at noon.
Through September 30th, times vary.
