Children's Diabetes Foundation 1st Annual High Hopes Golf Tournament
The guild of the Children's Diabetes Foundation at Denver and Sattler Homes are joining forces to raise funds through the First Annual High Hopes Golf Tournament. Proceeds from player registration will benefit clinical and research programs at the Barbara Davis Center, promote diabetes awareness and education, assist families in need, and provide continuing education scholarships for children with diabetes and their families. The tournament includes the weekend barbecue at a Ravenna Sattler home, a round of golf, a cart, a box lunch, and a cocktail party with an awards ceremony.

Rocky Mountain MS Young Professionals Network Wine Tasting
Raise a glass in support of the Rocky Mountain MS Young Professionals Network hosted by Water 2 Wine. With more than a hundred wines from 12 countries, Water 2 Wine has something for everyone's palate. The MS Young Professionals Network provides an opportunity for 20- and 30-something young professionals to support the work of the Rocky Mountain MS Center and raise awareness of the prevalence of multiple sclerosis in Colorado through networking, fundraising, and volunteer events.

National Kidney Foundation of Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming Great Chefs of the West
Gearing up for the 27th Annual Great Chefs of the West in 2010, the National Kidney Foundation of Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming is hosting a Young Professionals event at Second Home. American Cancer Society Relay for Life
This year, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life is celebrating 25 years of Hope. Relay for Life events will be held in 24 communities throughout Denver with a goal of raising $1.5 million for the fight against cancer. The overnight community celebrations encourage teams of friends, families, neighbors, and coworkers to walk or run around a track in support of the American Cancer Society. Funds raised are allocated to fight cancer through research, education, advocacy, and patient and family services. HDSA Golf Tournament
Hit the links in support of the Huntington's Disease Society of America's (HDSA) annual "Golf Gone Wild" tournament. Huntington's Disease is an inherited, progressively degenerative brain disorder that results in a loss of both mental faculties and physical control. The HDSA provides family services and regional referrals through its nationwide network of volunteer-based chapters and through its Centers of Excellence, including the Colorado Neurological Institute in Englewood. The scramble-format tournament will also include breakfast, player gifts, a raffle, and a BBQ dinner.
