Denver Magazine July Issue
Let the July issue of Denver Magazine take you for a ride. From the ponies of the Denver Polo Classic to the four-wheel-drive vehicles required to reach some of the area’s highest peaks, you are in for a thrilling experience at every turn of the page. We highlight some of the best things the city has to offer, allowing some of our favorite people to share their top choices for food, fun, and fashion. The Mile High Music Festival is coming, and soul superstar India.Arie — who grew up here and has strong ties to the area — is thrilled to be performing for a hometown crowd. If the Far East is more your style, save yourself the price of a plane ticket, and head to Sloan’s Lake for the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival for a taste of Asian culture. If you love opera, Central City offers three very different shows this summer in one of the oldest venues in the country. Our beverage experts take on the art of roasting coffee beans at higher altitudes and buying wine at auction. And if running 26 miles sounds like a slow morning, then you should meet some of Denver’s ultrarunners, who regularly take on marathons of 50 or 100 miles or more. Read all about these intriguing people and places and so much more in July’s Denver Magazine. Pick up an issue today.
On sale at newsstands throughout the city ($5.95) or subscribe now at denvermagazine.com.
