Junior League of Denver Holiday Mart
The Junior League of Denver Holiday Mart is one of the longest-standing holiday shopping traditions in the area, and it’s back for its 30th year. The four-day event features more than 150 unique retailers and artisans from Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, selling a variety of exclusive gifts and goods. Since its inception, Holiday Mart has contributed more than $4.6 million to community programs in the Denver metro and surrounding areas. Holiday Mart 2009 allows shoppers to directly impact their community, not only by supporting local small business owners, but also by helping the JLD raise funds that will be invested into programs that promote the health and wellbeing of women and children in the metro area.

Denver foodies can have their cake and eat it too at the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. Matthew Shepard Foundation “Bear to Make a Difference” Gala
The Matthew Shepard Foundation was founded by Dennis and Judy Shepard in memory of their 21-year-old son, Matthew, who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in Wyoming in October 1998. Now in it’s eighth year, this dinner and celebrity teddy bear auction will raise funds to support diversity programs in education and to help youth organizations establish environments where young people can feel safe and be themselves.
