Highland Chefs Collaborative
Founded by James Rugile, chef at Venue Bistro and Denver Magazine’s Rising Star Chef of the Year, the Highland Chefs Collaborative brings together masters from the neighborhood’s top restaurants. Known for his satirical and witty storytelling, David Sedaris will appear in Denver for a one-night-only live show at the Temple Buell Theatre. OneRepublic
Fox 31 and KWGN The Deuce has launched an outdoor concert series as part of its dedication to showcasing the talents of local musicians. Kicking off the free series is Colorado’s own OneRepublic, who will take the stage for live performances on both Good Day Colorado and Daybreak on the Deuce.
The Grammy-nominated band was formed in 2002 by songwriter and record producer Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins in Colorado Springs. Their breakout hit “Apologize” has gone platinum three times, and they just released their latest single “All the Right Moves.”
They will be opening for Rob Thomas that evening at Magness Arena, and tickets are still available. The first 25 people who show up outside the station will get to then do a meet and greet with the band and see them perform again live in studio at 7 pm on The Deuce.

Each February, The National Kidney Foundation of CO, MT, & WY presents the annual Great Chefs of the West event, featuring Denver’s finest culinary masters. Fashion by Design is Fashion Group International of Denver’s signature event, which salutes emerging designers throughout Colorado in 12 categories. This year’s winners were chosen by a distinguished panel of judges and will be revealed during the Academy Awards–style program.
