I enjoy spending my free time snow boarding in the winter and golfing during the summer. These were two of the major draws in my decision to move to Colorado. Ever since my uncle moved to Vail when I was a teenager, I have had a love for Colorado. Growing up in New England, I started skiing at a very young age, but after my first trip to the Rocky Mountains, I had a hard time justifying skiing anywhere else. My sister is also a recent graduate of CU and now lives in Boulder. With so much of my family living out here and the ability to enjoy two of my favorite passions, I decided to make the move to Denver in 2006.
My best experience in Colorado so far was at the beginning of this ski season when I went to Wolf Creek. They had just gotten about 60 inches of snow and the mountain was empty because Wolf Creek Pass was closed so none of the regulars could make it. The first day we went non-stop without even a break for food. It was the best boarding of my life, and you can see a few of the pictures from the trip above!
