Launch Party

It’s been less than a week since the Breaking the Ice premiere party for Denver Magazine®, and already it’s stirred up so much buzz, newspapers and television stations are raving about both the party, and the most coveted glossy in town. Event planner John Tobey of Eventeur, and Denver Magazine® Promotions and Special Events director Wendy Ledwitz, wife of Publisher and CEO Mike Ledwitz, planned the stellar spectacle complete with sexy models showing off winter white icy fashions and accessories from Chromosome, Cry Baby Ranch, Eve, Gusterman Silversmiths, Loft 22, Square 1, The Bent Lens, Violet, Mariel and John Atencio, all located at Larimer Square, which was our launch party partner.

Ice princesses on stilts and sexy snow fairies greeted guests, which numbered nearly 1,000, as party people entered and exited the soiree throughout the night. A video of behind-the-scenes footage gave guests a glimpse at what it takes to put together a lifestyle magazine. [Click on this link.] Ice sculptures and a snowflake light show glowed in the space. Chopin potato vodka martinis flowed from an ice luge and guests clinked glasses of White Star champagne donated by Möet & Chandon. Other coveted libations included Navan, Glenmorangie, 10CANE RUM, and local favorite, Coors beer. Yummy bites from Epicurean Catering kept tummies content, and centerpieces from Bouquets enhanced the decor.
